This Refund Policy explains our policy regarding refunds for Citeful's AI search audit services.

1. Overview

We strive to deliver high-quality AI search audit services. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for our Full Audit service.

2. Free Tier

The free tier service is provided at no cost. As such, no refunds are applicable for free tier audits.

3. Full Audit Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a full refund in the following circumstances:

  • Service Not Delivered: If we fail to deliver your audit report within 48 hours of payment and you have not received any communication from us regarding delays
  • Technical Failure: If our service experiences a technical failure that prevents us from completing your audit
  • Duplicate Payment: If you were accidentally charged multiple times for the same audit

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • After the audit report has been delivered to your email
  • If you are dissatisfied with the recommendations or findings (our analysis is based on established AI search best practices)
  • If you change your mind after purchase
  • If you provided an incorrect email address or website URL (though we may offer to rerun the audit at our discretion)
  • If you are unable to implement the recommendations

5. Partial Refunds

We do not offer partial refunds. Refunds, when granted, are issued in full for the amount paid.

6. Refund Request Process

To request a refund:

  • Include your order/audit ID and payment confirmation
  • Explain the reason for your refund request
  • We will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days

7. Refund Processing

If your refund request is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • Processing time: 5-10 business days depending on your bank/card issuer
  • You will receive a confirmation email when the refund is processed
  • Access to the audit results (if already delivered) will be revoked

8. Quality Guarantee

While we stand behind the quality of our audits, please note that:

  • Our recommendations are based on current AI search best practices and AI search engine optimization
  • Results may vary based on implementation and other factors
  • We analyze your website at a specific point in time; changes to your site after analysis are not covered

9. Chargebacks

If you file a chargeback with your bank instead of contacting us first, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback and provide evidence of service delivery. Please contact us directly to resolve any issues.

10. Exceptions

We reserve the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Such exceptions do not create a precedent for future refund requests.
